I mean after the installation there is no new file with hp, or psc or 1215 in its filename, and no new printer shows up in the list of hp printers.Īpparently the hp drivers are anyway only for USB connected printers. I downloaded the driver from the hp website, but that installer doesn't seem to have done anything. I tried different things, but the printer never reacted in any way and the print job never showed up in the windows print queue. It sees the printer (in the printer steup utility, under windows printing) and I can add it, but under the list of printer types no PSC printer is listed. I can't get the printing to work from my ibook over the network. I have a hp PSC 1215 connected to and shared by a windows PC (XP).
